Movement of non-cooperation to CW Games 2010

As in my previous post on CWG i raised the concerns about the Quality of work and doubted the respective authorities to complete all CWG related work evenafter games end. It is now before all the countrymen. Mrs. Sheila Dixit has given a final deadline of 15 Sep 10 to finish all CWG work, before a fortnight from the date game has to start. Which looks impossible at the current pace of work, amount of work to complete, the weather conditions and foremost Corruption.
Our Delhi's Chief Minister Shiela Dixit is requesting all the delhities to support and chear the games connecting it with pride of the Nation. Why this situation came before her that she is on her knee requesting to all countrymen to pray to God to finish the work and successfully hosting the games. She had almost 6 years to complete the CWG work. Initially when CWG games were awarded to Delhi, Indins were feeling proud and were thinking to be at par with the developed nation. We were feeling that we will show the world ,like China did, that India can host big events of sports. But after spending a big chunk of exhequer, not on the work but to the Pockets of Babu's,officials and ministers, now the people were feeling the throe and cursing the Delhi Govt. for it. Even public is asking why are we hosting such a big event which is of no use? We are a nation where 40 % of the population is poor. I am not going deep into this.

Our sportsman has lost the opportunity of homeground. Can we expect Gold medals from them. NO!

I read an Article on CWG by Chetan Bhagat " PLEASE DONT'T CHEAR THE 2010 LOOT FEST" where he asked Delhities for "Non-Cooperation Movement of CWG" . It was really interesting article.
Excerpt is here:
The CWG 2010 is , by far, the biggest and most blatant, excercise in corruption in independent India's history. Not Only have they stolen public money, they have made a mess of the job at hand.

Calling it a great daylight robbery of 2010.

Enquiry reports, vague statements, tossing responsibility from one person to the other will continue, untill the games are over. After that, fingers crossed, people will forget. Bollywood stars will do the closing ceremony and the entertainment provided will somewhat compensate for the loot fest.
In the middle of all this, there will be propaganda campaigns to 'save India's image' and get the games done somehow. If we, the Indian people, support these games, it will be a big mistake. This is a golden chance for citizens to put this corrupt and insensitive government to shame. And the way to do it is simply what the father of our nation pioneered in his time-NON COOPERATION. Do not watch these games. Do not go to venues.

Not digestable this as we are at heart Indians which used to show off a good image to outer world. He really thinks in a different way. But Chetan made us remember the act of our politicians.

If they can walk out of the parliament, we can walk out of stadiums. After all we all Indians have been robbed at the same time.

Very true!. When our politicians walkout of the parliament, throw shoes, fight among themselves where the pride of the nation has gone, although they know that they are being watched by world.

Some might say, should't we suport the games on account of our country's pride?

Chetan Bhagat narrates a very good story related to Pride: "When i was a child, our neighbours were a violent man and his battered wife. The women would cover her bruise marks with make-up, suffering silently. Whenever we visited them, the couple presented the perfect picture of a happy couple. She even praised her husband. I asked my mother why the woman behaved in that way and did't exposed her husband to show him in his true colours. My mother told me it does not look nice to portray an unhappy home. She has to save the familiy pride.Over time, the bruises turned to fractures, and the fractures became near fatal injuries. Untill one day,Police cars and ambulance came in and took both husband and wife away respectively."

Yes, such is Indian Culture. The Organizers are the operssaive husband, the Indian people the battered wife.

Caste Census, Reservation and Politics

Census!!! the word means an official count or survey of population.

On 3rd Apr, 2010,The country, on Thursday, took up one of its biggest intiatives, of counting its 1.2 billion population engaging over 25 lakh officials. The President, Ms. Pratibha Patil, inaugurated the census count, her name being recorded first.
The civic body has started door-to-door process of data collection for census. It includes details that will be used to build a comprehensive database for the National Population Register (NPR). It will cost Rs 2,209 crore and operation will be conducted over a period of 45 days in each state and Union Territory.
The enumerator can knock your door on any day.

It is imperative to note census is related to reservation, How? A big question. Apart from other details enumaertor will ask you your caste too. It is to ascertain that which caste is in what percentage of the population, so that reservation can be devised for backward and schedule castes to uplift their social and economic condition. Here note to be made that in India reservation is caste based not the financial condition.Although many people are economically backward in every caste whether it is General, OBC or SC category.
Reservation in education system and public sector jobs are hammering the economic growth of the country leaving the talent untapped. And it will endure protracted untill this reservation will not be eradicated. I am using word eradicated because caste based reservation is just like a epidemic.
You all must have faced the consequences/benefits of reservation at the time of getting admission in a good college or at the time of searching a Govt. job.

Through close observation i can say that if Govt. wants to provide reservation to the weaker section of the society, it should facilitate them financially like free education till 12 th class and also to talented students for higher education, which is now transpired through Right To Education Act .
There should be no reservation for getting admission in college/jobs. Talent shall get the job and our economy will grow exponentially.
If reservation has to be provided it has to be for the weaker section of the society based on their economic conditions.

Poltical parties came into power and go but nothing has been done to remove the reservation as they fear lose the votes. Even in Orrisa, there was a time when there is no caste based politics, now it has given the fire by few parties to burn their own oven. Caste is dividing india and political parties are the only beneficieriesYoung india must awake and understand the way political parties are fooling us.

The census 2011 is nothing more than this that India will be again devided on the basis of caste but the data gathered will be useful to UID project in great, headed by Nandan Nilekani , with some other projects run for the poorer section.

Commonwealth Games 2010

It was a day of national celebration for India When Delhi won the bid to host the 2010 edition of Commomwealth Games ,which has previously hosted the Asian Games in 1951 and 1982. Every delhiites were immensely proud and happy. Happiness was not for the very reason that Delhi would come on the map of hosting big event nations but the development which C'wealth Games will bring into the city.

November 13,2003 was the day Delhi won for CWG and the cost of hosting the event was estimated at Rs 1899 Crore. This official cost estimates have gone up by whopping 525% at Rs 10000/- Crore. But according to some independent NGOs estimate has gone up by 1575 % at Rs 30000/- Crore. In every project estimated cost is bound to go up but not with such percentage. It is all general public's money.

I came to Delhi in search of a good job in 2006. At that time i did not saw any of the major work going on except the Delhi metro's. The preparation started only in 2007 and paced up in 2009 after Michael Fennell, president of the Commonwealth Games Federation, had said that he was “extremely worried” about preparations for the Games. Now we could find the Delhi as a city of dust.Construction works are on in every part of Delhi.

Its all OK. But who is going to check the quality of the work? No work was reported to be of subquality till now. Only Metro got some of the dents owing few accidents which took toll of few lives. It seems that government is trying to save her nose by completing all the construction works by Aug 2010 in haste at any cost compromising the quality of works. Also what about the cleaning of pollution level in terms of dust which takes about six months to settle down.

It would be funny to note that constructions are being done by common man's money living and working in Delhi, facing the heat of inflation with increase in the existing taxes and some of new more taxes, for the very reason that this work will not stay for longer to avail the benefits with substandard quality of work.

why do we need such big events for the development of the city?

Save our Planet

"we say , Save our Planet but Planet must be saying- save yourself first i would be fine."

Yes! it is true.

In today's world human, an intellectual species, is so selfish that he wants to use all the resources available on our planet to spent their life luxurious. Difficult to comprehend, why? Is this the purpose of life?

In my opinion, most of the people are unaware of the consequences or don't want to give a damn thought , they are using in making their life easy. Money has given the power to purchase whatever you wants to Or the intricacy of the matter and its subsequent sensitivity prevents them from doing the things to protect the environment.I like the eccentricity of one human trying to cope with multiple humans inside him.

Today our Planet is burning and it is being anticipated by the Scientists that in next 300 years temperature would rise to the limit that humans could unable to adapt or survive. The main reason behind Climate change is the burning of fossil fuels. The world's biodiversity is threatened by the economic growth.

Humans are not thinking all about this aspect in hustle - bustle of life. Even i saw in Delhi that most of the cars carrying only one person/it is only driver. Lots of chemicals are being dumped in rivers,Trees are being choped off in the name of development, very few institution have the rain water harvesting system. Drinking water is being truncated, owing wastage of supplied water, in such a way that Delhi's Goverment is now planning to supply the recycled drainage water on the model of Singpore's water supply system.

We must awake, act in right direction to conserve the natural resources for us and posterity.Nature has such a distinct way of reminding us all the time that we are such insignificant pawns in their presence. It becomes imperative therefore that we respect it, preserve it and learn to live with its eminence.

Pursuits of Disintegration

Today in the evening i went to V3S Mall to walk, and after having a walk i took a seat to reminisced. After few minutes i tried to focus on my surroundings and noticed that only young married couples with their children, couples and few single girls and boys were roming here and there in exubarance. In my half an hour sitting i found only three families who were accompanied by their parents in their sixties or seventies.
What our yonger generation is running after? They don't have time for their parents but have for their family. Although they know that they have to pass this phase too but who cares. It all about Money Honey. Even they dont hv the time for their invaluable asset i.e. their own body , a great gift from GOD. You can see youngers with a huge tummey.
What happens in the pursuits of earning their livlihood they left with no time to spent with the parents or children or their wife, if she is too working - it is very difficult to manage the time for the partner. Also they got so engaged in their daily routine that people wants no interference from any vertical. And their aim of life is to do better upbringing of the children and taking care of all their necessities , leaving their parents on their own.
they are unaware that with the Parents family feels protected, secure. Reap the benefits of their experience...... kids learns valuable lessons of life from them which no teacher will teach . Just try to spent quality time with the parents and try to notice the delightness on their face...Priceless!

Every one wants to change the world but no one ever tries to change himself

This seems the indian mentality that Clean ur home and spread the waste to outside the home. A gift to delhi - a world class metro, for which Delhities feel proud but few people dent into the image of clean metro.

I was on my way to attend a case listed in Tis Hazari Court, riding on metro from Nirman Vihar metro to Tis Hazari metro. I chose long route as it gave me little bit excercise on move. At tis Hazrai Metro i saw many brown/red spots on the wall adjacent to one of the the escalators, people tried to spit the pan/ pan masala in the sapce between escalator and the wall left uncoverd. What the people they are? Should metro do the same thing as it was being done in the Odeon Cinema, C.P.,Delhi owned by ADAG group where security man take all such belongings which can spread spiting.

People spotting such acts might condemn these unknown people but it may also possible that on some other places they are himself involve in such acts.

So before saying any one to change, change yourself first and u will see the things improving for thr betterment of the nation and the Planet.

Dearth of coordination among Govt. civic bodies.

On last thursday (28 Jan 10) i had to leave my office (gurgaon)to attend a case in Patiala house Court which we have filed against one of our defaulted clients u/s 138.
Since it was a new case so formalities are to be finished after lunch i.e case would be presented before court after 2 p.m.. Me and Manish, our legal adviser, left the office on his bike and reached there in time and finished the proceedings. Afterward i moved towards ITO , as i like the walking alone, to catch the bus to Laxmi Nagar. After crossing the Tilak bridge i saw newly constructed foothpath digged on various point to errect the barricade across the Parade route on 26 Jan to obstruct the passage of general public who came there to view the strength of India, to feel proud.
Isn't the duty of the contractor to do the repair work? But who cares, after all its india-"Sab Chalta Hai" Attitude. You all must have also noticed in your locality that newly constructed road always being digged after few days/month to put the cable, water pipes under road. And this is owing to dearth of coordination among the civic depts. responsible to development and maintenance of the city. It is a wastage of public money. Govt. must create a post of coordination Officer to manage this dearth to avoid any wastage of time and money and keep accountable the responsible civic body for repair work.

Tata Motors- New fleet of Busses in Delhi

I commute to reach office through cab facilitated by our company and to save petrol i used to rome the city on DTC buses leaving my bike back to home on rest on holidays. Lot many people do the same thing owing financial limits. So ignorantly they are helping in saving the forex of the country which could have spent to purchase the crude oil.
Delhi Govternment's new initiative, in view of CW Games, to upgrade the Transport system in Delhi to make the ride pleasent and to ease the incresing pressure from the influx of new vehicles on Delhi's roads, Two of the elite indian Auto manufacturer companies - Tata Motors and Ashok Leyland choosen after a long procedure of tender. Now these busses are plying on various routes of Delhi for almost one year.

I was comming back from Pacific mall,Gaziabad to Laxmi nagar,I took a ride on Tata's manufactured bus and what i found that interior was in very poor condition, Dust was everywhere on the floor and windows. The floor brushes attached to the gates are not on their proper place, some are missing. The rubber used as cushion between the gates are loosen, hoisting along with the gates. And the most important the iron base of the seats were rusted i must say badly rusted to such a new bus. one or two seat cover made of raxin are in torned condition. Also Few cases have been reported about engine compartment getting fire. The old busses were in better condition than this. This is the condition when maintenance is being carried on by Tata motors engineers and workers. After investing crore of rupees on these buses ,this impression would be shown to foreign visitors. This depicts the dearth on the part of Tata motor's quality dept. and govts.' laid quality standard.

Established in 1945,Tata Motors is the world's fourth largest truck manufacturer, and the world's second largest bus manufacturer. The image of tata motors was a truck/bus manufacturer before they launched first indiginous car "Indica", there after many products were launched. This is just a small introduction of the prestigious company Tata Motors.

In india the name Tata is believed to be quality. If this name is associated with the product, it would be of good standard. But now it seems the name is fading its shine. I hv asked few people about tata's proudct and all were reluctant to purchase their cars.It is now the impression-tata first launch the product, get to know the faults from public and then rectify it. Recent examples are Nano's Incidents of getting fire near steraing.
In 65 years of history they could not have even develop a engine which is unique in its own technology. In today's car from tata, for best performance tata's are using Fiat's engine.Just hoping to have better products from Tata motors. See mahindra & mahindra they are now venturing into space crafts.

Criminals in political system denting the growth

Post independent the political parties were using criminals to turn the voters in their favour, and after 1970 criminals realized that if they could facilitate others to win then why did not win theirself. And they started comming into the active politics.
I am keeping this post for the state UP.
The criminalization of the politics dented the growth of the nation especially in UP as criminals have a great exposure in state politics. If we go into deep we see that every political party more or less has shaken the hands with the criminlas expecting to get a win with their help. The indelible impact UP is going back in economic growth. Look Bihar's economy growing @11.03 % just behind the highest growing economy Gujrat (11.05 %). The figure are for FY 14-05 to 09-10. Criminals are not passionate about development despite they look for their wealth.

Now congress , SP and BJP have washed their hands from them to some extent but they are being adopted by BSP, the criminal Party in the patronage of Ms Mayawati balancing the political spectrum in the state on the same level. At the 2007 election she claimed to provide a crime free state, but having criminals on the board in the government it is not possible. Her Government could be labled as Statue Government.Instead of reformig the UP Police with new equipments like communication devices to each petroling police man, Replacing the oldest Britishers time’s rifle 303 with the new state of art devices like AK 47,56, mouser etc, cyber traing, opening of new Police stations, she is only reforming the land of up by wasting crores of peoples money ,for example: She took land fron the UP jail authority to make it Ambedkar Rally sthal in her previous term. Crores of rupees had been spent, number of Green trees were cut despite being objected by NGOs and Forest Dept.. In her current term that Rally sthal has been destructed and is being rebuilt as a Amedkar Smarak where lot of statues of elephant, and Dalit leaders with the Kanshi Ram and her being installed in the name of beautification, The complete wastage of the peoples hard earn money collected by mean of taxes. I was the spectator of these activities as my home was vey near to that ground.

It is right that in the Lok Sabha election 2009 many candidates of BSP were tainted with criminal records. One of them Dhananjay Singh is known to me as i have done my Graduation , PG and MBA from Lucknow University. He was the abnominable element of the university expelled 2 times from the univ. He is getting the patronage of Ms Mayawati.

i have analysed the reasons behind her being in full majority.
-Playing in the name of Dalit,
-A good mixture of participants from all caste from lower to upper end,
-Obviously Criminal candidates,
and above all these BSP vote base is illitrate in majority, having blind faith on mayawati despite the fact that she did not done any thing for them in great except planting statues.

To remove such criminals and parties patronaging such candidates there is only one way- to make voting compulsory for each individual so that voting could reach to 100 %. Average Voting percent has rarely gone over 50 %. Election commision has also taken good inititaive to elude some of the criminal candidates from contesting. It has to play a greater role to clean the political spectrum from these criminals and ensure the participation of each indian.
Hoping that the project on UIN headed by Mr Nandan Nilekani get completed soon, i know it will take a long time to complete, As UIN has to play a bigger role with the help of increasing penetration of telecommunication and internet. Pepole can cast their vote sitting at their home, office, college, on the way thru UIN.
We are waiting for that day……

Time cost the money- DRDO

In last 62 years of independence we as a nation achieved a lot like indigenous Satellite Launch Vehicle (SLV and PSLV)- which made india exclusive member of space club,,Indigenous Guided Missiles like Agni and Prithvi ,Pokhran-II nuclear tests (To which Dr. Kalam was associted)establishd India as a nuclear power nation,Indigenous War Tank Arjun comparative to Russian T-90 tank, Chandrayan mission and its discoveries, indigenous Super Computer and specific purposes Satelites, telecommunication growth, etc. ,but there remains lot to be achieved.
Our need for equipments, ammunitions for militry, air and navel we are depending on DRDO and ordinance factories, established in Dehradun and Kanpur, in the extent of 20- 30 %.
My embarrassing point is that about 70-80 % of the defence requirement is being imported. Yes we are investing lot of money on the research and development on our defence equipement. But the development of these projects are not being completed in the approved time limit running over years costing Billion of rupees of the exchequer, and augmented the revised cost by 10- 20 times the actual cost of the projects. For example suppose a project would cost 530 crore. project got delayed by the years and just take the revised cost 10 times of the projected cost it will be 5300 crore means 900 % increase in the cost.
Some of incomplete or yet to be indutcted projects are Tejas (Light Combat Aircraft)sactioned in 1983, Kaveri engine for Tejas sactioned in 1989, Trishul and Akash SAM(Surface-air missile).
Mere sanctioning the defence projects to DRDO is not going to work. There must be a competition in it, like Centre is planning to open the doors for manufacturing of military equipment for private partnership in a limited way. Also there must be deadline for the projects. Through this way we can save billions of our foreign exchange reserve and despite the saving it will create a number of job for countrymen. We will be self reliant as a country to defend ourself.
just hope our aspiration met in the future.
